JOB DESCRIPTION :-
1. Project & Materials Accounting
- Maintain accounting records related to project expenditures and material consumption.
- Monitor project costs and ensure accurate accounting treatment.
- Assist in reconciliation of project-related accounts and inventories.
2. Accounts Payable & Bill Processing
- Verification and processing of vendor invoices.
- Ensure timely booking of expenses and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with user departments for invoice approvals and supporting documents.
3. GST Compliance
- Review GST applicability on purchases and services.
- Assist in GST return preparation, reconciliation, and compliance activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of GST-related records and documentation.
4. TDS Compliance
- Verify TDS applicability and deduction as per Income Tax provisions.
- Assist in TDS return filing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain vendor tax records and support assessments, if required.
5. Banking & Treasury Operations
- Process banking transactions and payment requests.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily fund movements.
- Coordinate with banks for routine operational requirements.
6. General Accounting & Reporting
- Pass accounting entries accurately in ERP systems.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare account reconciliations and support audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
