POST NAME - Finance Analyst
QUALIFICATION - CA Inter/CMA Inter/MBA
EXPERIENCE - 5 Years

LOCATION - Chennai

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

Support month end closing activities i.e. General Ledger close including preparation of manual journals and making adjustments to final numbers in Group Reporting tool; and ensure key datelines are met for Group & Internal reporting.

• • Complete all accounting activities in a timely and accurate manner, resolving /escalating issues and ensure compliance & operating effectiveness for all controls.
  • Analyze key accounts in Balance Sheet (Blackline) to ensure balances are appropriately reconciled and properly supported.
  • Perform local statutory reporting activities and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Manage control remediation initiatives and participate in statutory, internal control and system assurance audits.
  • Develop continuous strategies to identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and sharing of knowledge/learning among team members.
  • Participate in R&A special projects & timely and effective responses to special data/project requests.
  • Manage interfaces with FO and Non-FO stakeholders effectively, build end to end perspective

  Dimensions : Stakeholder Management

  • Provide Assurance to Controllers to sign off on the numbers reported and support with Business justification and reasoning for better decision making and cost leadership measures
  • Engage with other Processes and teams within Finance Operations that are involved with related work to develop end to end process knowledge of various processes
  • Build an effective partnership with business counterpart in both finance and operations team, with specific focus on Controllers organization and other business stakeholders to deliver seamless end to end process management.

  Other Dimensions:

  • Accurate and timely completion of the monthly closing cycle delivers financial results for all Upstream (Americas) operations.
  • R&A Finance Analyst will have close interaction with the various stakeholders within FO (inside and outside R&A), Group Reporting as well as various class of business.
