Volvo Group Trucks Operations is the organization responsible for truck manufacturing and logistics within the Volvo Group and is shaping future industries.
Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group’s engines and transmissions as well as the production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. The organization is also responsible for spare parts supplies to the Group’s customers and for designing, operating and optimizing logistics and supply chains for all brands. Together, Volvo Group Trucks Operations represents 30,000 employees at 30 plants and 50 distribution centers across the globe.
- Lead and develop business control strategies for IM , REMAN and PL with the respective management teams to fulfil targets and other business demands. Act as an advanced navigator and a business partner to the management teams.
- Handle all joint company matters with regard to finance, represent Hosakote in the Finance committee, secure accounting to Volvo and local legal demands.
- Drive and deliver SQDCEP KPI targets as part of the management team for IM, REMAN and PL Organization and drive overall development of Business areas. Translate Strategic Objectives into CapEx, OpEx and cash flow statement for the plant and challenge the outcome.
- Responsible for business control function, developing the team in leadership and to act as Next Gen Controllers. Communicate strategies and policies to the business control department.
- Challenge and drive actions for Financial KPIs to close gaps. Drive proactive controlling through respective controllers and drive the cost awareness in management team in order to achieve short and long term financial targets.
- Drive cost improvements through VPS tools.
- Partner with Business heads in initiating/implementing and follow up of restructuring and improvement projects.
- Drive financial guidelines and calculation methods in accordance with the Group Truck Operations, direct and drive the Investment Process, Standard Cost of Sales Process and PRD Business Administration Process and maintaining the required internal control environment in the PRD process, responsible for the internal and external financial audits for the IM, REMAN and PL.
- Support and drive the plant management in documenting the process deviations, advocating process adherence and supporting the process owners in business process re-engineering.
- Responsible for the P&L and balance sheet of the BA for the legal entity for various financial audits. Optimize working capital in the BA.
- Build relationships at all levels within the organization to effectively maximize employee involvement and intensify company’s positive image by correct behavior and polite manner of communication with colleagues and company’s partners.
