The Assistant Manager will assist in building shared service in India and support and assist in accounting, reporting Budgeting and balance sheet forecasting efforts related to cash, receivables and revenue for B2B and B2C. And will lead their team with a team player mindset. They are accountable for all internal controls and compliance matters for their areas. As a member of finance leadership, this role will partner with other functional area leaders to drive and disseminate the company's strategic initiatives and ensure that the team is providing quality service to internal customers such as Business Unit Controllers, IT, Human Resources and Payroll, and the HLT for all noon Group companies (Supply chain, Ecommerce (noon, Kul, Sivvi, Daily), Instant delivery (Now Now) and noon Food)
RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Initiate and lead strategic initiatives related to OTC and revenue business cycles
- Oversee daily and monthly accounts receivable and revenue functions and team members
- Accountable for internal control compliance for all accounts receivable and cash application
- Support team needs, and coordinate cross-functional efforts, as needed to ensure efficient business processes
- Explore and lead innovative solutions and initiatives to eliminate highly manual tasks, and develop cross-training programs to eliminate individuals that are single points of failure across the team
- Work in close co-ordination with FR and GL team to prepare and support P&L and balance sheet on monthly basis and the annual plan for Corporate Accounting and BU Finance teams. Support other finance and functional areas during forecasting and planning periods.
- Close monitoring all intercompany transaction and related party transaction and ensure its proper accounting and compliance as per Internal control requirement
- Support Corporate Accounting and Business Unit Controllers during forecasting and planning periods
- Drive innovative reporting around accounts receivable and accounts payable activity for cash flow analysis
- Support finance talent development and succession planning initiatives
- Maintain continual focus on growth and development for direct and indirect reports, as well as building a strong of sense of team-player mentality. Ability to manage tenured team.
- Drive process improvements, efficiencies and lead projects that support the Hussmann strategic Initiatives.
- Collaborate across departments and communicate with internal and external customer to achieve results.
