The responsible for providing high-quality Business planning, analysis, reporting, and controlling services to the business. The role ensures accurate financial insights, robust process governance, strong stakeholder partnership, and continuous improvement through standardization and automation, while maintaining full compliance with internal and external regulations.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Own end-to-end Business Controlling and analytical services, including automated, semi-automated, manual, and ad-hoc reports aligned to business requirements.
- Support financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and baseline reviews with relevant stakeholders. Analyse monthly and quarterly MIS, benchmark performance, investigate variances, and communicate insights to management and controllers.
- Manage R&D controlling activities including budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, accruals, corrections, and tax-related compliance. Review project and cost performance versus plan, identify deviations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Standardize, document, and manage R&D reporting across geographically distributed entities. Accountable for end-to-end finance process management, performance monitoring, and KPI-based process steering.
- Drive continuous process improvements through standardization, innovation, automation, and elimination of inefficiencies and duplications.
- Validate accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial data through reconciliations, reviews, and exception handling. Oversee financial systems and master data governance, including chart of accounts, Business Warehouse tools, project setup, and master data maintenance.
- Act as a finance business partner to key stakeholders, ensuring adherence to process standards, policies, and timelines. Prepare management presentations and reports, clearly articulating financial insights and performance drivers.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, internal controls, procedures, and applicable external regulations. Proactively support audits and control reviews as required. Support ad-hoc assignments and evolving responsibilities as the function matures. Contribute ideas and expertise to improve accuracy, timeliness, and automation of financial processes.

- SAP technical knowledge (S/4Hana. FI/CO mandatory)
- Mapping of Business processes with more focus on Financial Planning and Analysis, Setting up procedures / developing guidelines – playbooks and training materials as part of Record 2 Report process.
- Support the Global Functions, BUs on new initiatives.
- Master Data maintenance w.r.t Activity Type, Activity Rates; Performing RA (Result Analysis) runs and analyzing the impact on Revenue, COGS, Inventory for the Sale order, Service order and Project (WBS) archetypes.
- Material Ledger and its impact on Result Analysis and Inventory valuation; Periodic activities relating to Controlling Module.
- Product Costing, (Standard costing) Purchase info record, Cost Object Controlling, Profit Centre Accounting.
- Setting up of Assessment and Distribution Cycles including CO-PA cycles; Value Flow Analysis, Margin Reporting process. Analysis of Under/Over absorption of overheads and finding its root cause.
- Maintenance of Activity Rates and assessing the impact on Inventory valuation; Evaluate run-organization requirements
- Ensure adherence to Internal Controls; Automation of processes
- Maintenance of necessary Knowledge documents / Play Books w.r.t processes.
1. You will support in SAP technical knowledge (S/4Hana. FI/CO), mapping of Business processes with more focus on Financial Planning and Analysis, Setting up procedures / developing guidelines – playbooks and training materials as part of Record 2 Report process and support the Global Functions, BUs on new initiatives.
2. You will ensure master data maintenance w.r.t Activity Type, Activity Rates and performing RA (Result Analysis) runs and analyzing the impact on Revenue, COGS, Inventory for the Sale order, Service order and Project (WBS) archetypes.
3. You will do material ledger and its impact on Result Analysis and Inventory valuation also do periodic activities relating to Controlling Module, Product Costing, (Standard costing) Purchase info record, Cost Object Controlling, Profit Centre Accounting.
4. You will be setting up of Assessment and Distribution Cycles including CO-PA cycles, Value Flow Analysis, Margin Reporting process and analysis of Under/Over absorption of overheads and finding its root cause.
5. You will do maintenance of Activity Rates and assessing the impact on Inventory valuation, evaluate run-organization requirements, ensure adherence to Internal Controls and automation of processes. Maintenance of necessary Knowledge documents / Play Books w.r.t processes.
6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
