JOB DESCRIPTION :-
The incumbent would be responsible for the following:
1.Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Purchase Accounting & Ledger Review: Process supplier CAPEX invoices, monitor advances, and handle credit/debit note
processing.
Ensure accurate booking of transport bills and perform detailed scrutiny of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet ledger accounts.
- Month-End and Year-End Closures: Ensure timely completion of all financial closing activities within defined deadlines.
- Expense Provisioning & Cost Supervision: Manage PTBA expense provisioning and oversee base cost accounting.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver periodic MIS reports related to CWIP, CAPEX, and base costs.
2.Inventory & Fixed Assets Management
- Asset Capitalization & Reconciliation: Reconcile CWIP and ensure timely capitalization of fixed assets.
- Asset Verification: Conduct periodic physical verification of fixed assets in line with corporate policies.
- Employee Reimbursements: Process reimbursements for travel, telephone, and mobile expenses in accordance with
company policies.
3.Investment Analysis & Reporting
- ROI & Payback Evaluation: Perform pre- and post-investment analysis, including ROI and payback period calculations, to
support CAPEX budgeting decisions.
4.Statutory Compliance
- Regulatory Payments: Ensure timely payments to contractors and utility providers such as MSEB.
- Audit Coordination: Liaise with statutory and internal auditors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
5.Process Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Digital Transformation: Drive automation initiatives using tools like RPA, Power BI, and OLAP.
- Kaizen & Innovation: Promote continuous improvement through Kaizen initiatives for both individual and departmental
efficiency.
