JOB DESCRIPTION :-
Responsible for accounting and finance operations, including administrative direct and indirect tax requirements, of Varian India.
- Manage and ensure compliance of statutory accounting and regulatory requirements
- Manage and ensure compliance of Varian Siemens Group Financial Reporting Guideline and relevant accounting regulations.
- Manage accounting operations such as cash and bank, fixed assets, journal voucher, inter-company accounting, monthly closing of books, Managing Accruals,
- Understanding and working knowledge of FEMA, bank guarantees and letter of credits
- Support around data requirement for auditors direct and indirect tax administrative requirements
- Have an acumen to deep dive into Financials from Statutory point of view Knowlege of IND-AS and IFRS and company law will be an added advantage.
- Content review of financial statements, timely alignment with business and management
- Support digitalization initiatives and improvements in processes and procedures, and implement global initiatives
- Establish and execute internal controls in operations and implementation of measures to remediate deficiencies
- Coordinate with the Business Team, Auditors and Regional Finance team ensuring competencies in tasks and responsibilities.
