JOB DESCRIPTION :-
Month Closing & Cost centre Accounting
- Booking of Provisions & review of GL Balances
- Explanation of variations from projections & Plan
- Preparation of Statutory Audit Schedules & Monthly Balance sheet schedules
- Monthly clearing of various Tax & other accounts
- Monthly Closing Control Jobs – including Cost object audit, Price Variance Review, expenses provisions, allocation cycle, clearing account monitoring
- Coordination with Shared Services for ensuring proper cost center accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Office –excel etc. and handling large databases.
Operational Accounting & Control
- Fixed Asset Accounting - PI calculation, Physical Verification & tagging, and asset capitalization
- General Accounting – Including Scrap sales, Plant workers and supervisors salary, provident fund and gratuity accounting
- Statutory and Internal Audit Co-Ordination – including physical count of assets and inventory
Taxation Support
- Sales Tax – Periodic Tax Returns and assessments (including matters like C-Forms {concessional tax forms}), availment of sales tax credit, maintaining all kinds of statutory documents and registers for both plants Vitreous and Faucet
- Various Tax Audits Co-ordination
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
- Frequent contact with various Licencing Authorities and Consultant
- Reports to Head-Manufacturing Finance
