The role is expected to contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively leading all financial activities for the brand profitability, innovation reporting and tracking, meeting brand & SKU gross margin target, DME effectiveness & ROI analysis and maintain the organization’s financial health and increase profitability in the long run.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Reporting and Analysis
- Local / Global reporting (Monthly):
Analysis of budget vs. actual performance for Sales, Brand Marketing spends, Selling/ General Admin spends, Brand profitability
Sales/ P&L analysis, Channel sales tracking, Price/Volume growth analysis, Brand mix analysis, Risks/ Opportunities tracking, Innovation reporting
- Analysis:
Investment effectiveness analysis for Brand Marketing spends, GTM Investments
Brand Profitability Analysis (Actual vs. Plan) and New Product margin analysis
Deep-dive analysis of various spend pools for the brand
Business / Innovation Planning
- Cross-functional collaboration to support business planning for all P&L lines (From Sales to Operating Income).
- WiC – Work for Win in Chocolate and Glide path for GP improvement and 20 years business case
- Work for Brown field project, project diamond and ambient bar
- Trend analysis for Product COGS, Channel sales realization and Cost Centre level budgeting for key spends.
External Benchmarking
- Quarterly newsletter providing updates on Competitors, Channel, Consumer activity.
- Analysis of Competitor Financials.
- Driving closure of aligned action plans based on External benchmarking insights.
Personal Capability Development
- Responsible and committed for individual training and development plan
- Collaborate on Finance for Non-Finance training agenda.
