The Pushpa Gujral Science City or PGSC is located on outskirts of Kapurthala on the Kapurthala-Jalandhar road. The foundation stone of PGSC was laid by the then prime minister Inder Kumar Gujral on 17 October 1997. The science city has been named after mother of Inder Kumar Gujral and jointly funded by Government of India and the Punjab Government. The first director general of PGSC, Raghbir Singh Khandpur has been credited with having conceptualised this centre.

Date of Skill Test : PGSC will conduct Skill Test which will be of qualifying nature.
The applicants those who are shortlisted by the screening committee will be called for Skill Test.
The downloaded prescribed Application Form duly filled should reach the
Administrative Officer, Pushpa Gujral Science City, Jalandhar-Kapurthala Road,
Kapurthala by 17.08.2022.
Eligible candidates are required to bring along original testimonials /certificates as well as required to appear in person for the Skill Test in the Administrative Building of PGSC, Kapurthala.
Note: The candidate with incomplete application, without testimonials/original
certificates /fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and the candidates whose result is awaited, will not be eligible for Skill Test.

SYLLABUS FOR TEST :-
For Office Executive (Accounts) : Knowledge of Book Keeping and accounting basics, EPF, GST and Income Tax, posting of entries in Tally, cash, bank and other vouchers, preparation of cheques, tax challans and employee salary, cash handling and computer work like Tally, MS Word, MS Excel & MS Power Point.
