JOB DESCRIPTION :-
We are looking for diligent candidates to work with the Indirect Tax Centre of Excellence team on the issues related to Customs Act, 1962. This would involve practical exposure to Customs issues like Valuation, classification, rate of duty, assessment etc.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities
1. Calculation of Custom duty after studying Customs Tariff and exemption notifications
2. To ascertain the correct tariff classification of goods imported
3. To assist in preparation, Cross checking and reconciliation of various data which requires good excel and analytical skills
