JOB DESCRIPTION :-
Responsibility for providing financial & cost accounting services in support of manufacturing operation. These responsibilities include tracking Expenses, capturing savings initiatives, period-end costing , preparing of Standard cost budget, manufacturing accounts, initiatives for cost reduction, variance analysis and assist to ensure adequate internal control.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Control of Expenses,tracking booked & committed amount every month & closing any gap with budget by making stakeholders aware on time.
- Capturing Cost savings initiatives, and preparing forecasts, ensuring the savings target is met through monitoring timely implementation and on track progress of all initiatives.
- Period-end Product costing
- Responsible for preparation of variances and work in close association with production; ensure Variance analysis in time with action points in case of major gaps (Material, Labour, Energy). Proper action points derived from variance meeting with stakeholders.
- Assist in preparation of actual manufacturing accounts (closing) by ensuring timely data accumulation from production, engineering, Human resources and other sources to ensure timely and error free reporting.
- Delivering new product costing.
- Preparing Annual Budgets.
- Drive performance/constant benchmarking, cost optimization in all aspects of Factory operations.
- Conduct periodic self-audit in factory as per plan and suggest for action to ensure internal control and reduce probable audit issue. Ensure control over all types of stock through physical verification and self-audit.
- To prepare and circulate Factory MIS in time to keep management updated on whole operational picture of the manufacturing unit and facilitate resolution of queries.
- Logistic support to other department managers providing accounting and other decision supporting information as to ensure a profitable operation as a whole;
- Any other assignments given by Factory Controller.
