An Assistant Manager-Finance is a responsible officer in the organization whose main duties will comprise of assisting the Finance Manager in tasks like preparation of financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll and personnel administration, TDS / Service Tax Returns, maintaining Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables, Month end and Year end closing as per schedule, MIS reports, etc.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to the following.
Invoicing and follow up of receivables
Checking of Vendor Invoices and creating vendor accounts
Posting of vendor bills, preparing of cheques occasionally
Scrutiny/ reconciliation of ledgers and accounts
Balance confirmation of vendors and debtors.
Payment uploads in Bank
Bank Reconciliation
Payroll preparation
Income tax / GST / transfer pricing assessments
Fixed Assets Accounting
Month end and Year end closing as per Global Accounting norms.
Preparation of Final Accounts
Accrual of Revenue and Expenses
Interaction with Statutory/ Internal Auditors.
