JOB DESCRIPTION :-
- Oversee accounting and finance function of the domestic subsidiaries of the Group
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the subsidiaries by coordinating with the department heads of the subsidiary functions.
- Drafting and implementation of policies and procedures applicable for the effective functioning of business operations.
- Review of periodic financial reports to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
- Analyse business data to identify key insights and provide suggestions for top management decision making.
- Liasoning with internal auditors and statutory auditors for timely and effective completion of audits, implement audit recommendations and resolve non-conformities, if any.
- Suggest improvements in financial reporting systems and drive IT initiatives to implement the same.
- Closely review financial statements regularly to look for cost optimisation opportunities.
- Responsible for organising quarterly board meetings and follow-up with stakeholders for the completion of key action points.
- Responsible for managing investment portfolios (mutual funds) on a continued basis with support from VP finance and strategy.
