JOB DESCRIPTION :-
The Senior Cost accountant will be based in Bangalore, India reporting to the Senior Manager R2R. The major functions of this position include:
· Assist Director/ Sr Manager of Wholesale Cost Accounting in managing functions within the Divisional Cost Department.
· Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
· Primary responsibilities:
- Month End Close
- Rebates
- Costing
- Monthly Cost Variance Analysis
- Cost Variance budget\forecast
· Sales and Gross Profit analysis.
· Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Month-end closing responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of sales and cost of sales, dilution and cost variances. Ensure that all reporting accurately reflects the correct General Ledger, budget, forecast and prior year balances.
- Cost Variance analysis including development of a monthly forecast\annual budget, analysis of results to the forecast\annual budget and development of analytical reports to effectively communicate results.
- Provide a due diligence review of proposed standard costs.
- Ensure that all customers are provided an exceptional customer service experience.
- Special projects and analysis at manager’s discretion.
- Monitor and review contract financials in Royalty administration tool
