MIS & COSTING ANALYST VACANCY FOR CMA AT ALOK INDUSTRIES LIMITED

Alok was established in 1986 as a private limited company, with our first polyester texturising plant being set up in 1989. We became a public limited company in 1993. Over the years, we have expanded into weaving, knitting, processing, home textiles and garments. And to ensure quality and cost efficiencies we have integrated backward into cotton spinning and manufacturing partially oriented yarn through the continuous polymerisation route. We also provide embroidered products through Grabal Alok Impex Ltd., our associate company.

VACANCY DETAILS :-

POST NAME - MIS & Costing Analyst 
QUALIFICATION - CMA
EXPERIENCE - 3 To 5 Years
CTC - 10 To 12 LPA
LOCATION - Mumbai

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

1. Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function

2. Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from management of current rates to monthly close and analysis

3. Develop new, robust processes to drive productivity in the cost accounting function

4. Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis

5. Assist with the coordination and deliverables for quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by internal and external auditors

6. Prepare ad hoc reporting and analyses and assist team with research on cost accounting questions and assist with special projects as requested.

7. Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management

8. Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers

9. Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities

10. Measure the performance of the lines, plants, product geographies & customers using key data

11. Support to product mix, customer mix & related business decision to optimize the operational profitability.

12. Set up standard costing, variance analysis & contribution systems

13. Responsible for costing, inventory management, and coordination of all activities with other departments such as operation and supply chain

14. Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database

15. Construct data accumulation systems, determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)

16. Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)

17. Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

18. Analyse and report profit margins and Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)

19. Communicate areas of potential improvement to production managers

20. Ensure all cost and inventory transactions have been done correctly as per Accounting Standards and compliance with local tax laws
