JOB DESCRIPTION :-
- Establish and responsible for the month-end inventory close process and related financial reporting & analysis.
- Develop policies and internal controls for all cost accounting and inventory activities.
- Work closely and partner with supply chain team and inventory management team to set up processes and procedures in relation to inventory management.
- Work closely with the Project, engineering team to understand the timing of installation to ensure they are properly accounted for on our books.
- Drive operational improvements and efficiencies on all aspects related to inventory costing and inventory management to improve business profitability.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all inventory transactions are recorded properly in the company s current financial database and the Cost of Goods Sold are properly aligned with the Revenue.
- Provide support and documentation as needed for internal and external audit requirements.
- Provide financial analysis to support manufacturing and product development decisions.
- Ensure process integrity within the manufacturing team and inventory team while working with cross-functional peers to resolve process issues.
- Work with the inventory management team to develop, monitor, track and improve the cycle count process and inventory accuracy.
- Oversee the company's cycle count and year-end physical inventory programs.
- Partner with the engineering team to ensure Bill of Material accuracy including knowledge of cost reduction impact on financials.
