Kuantum Papers is in the business of production and marketing of wood free writing and printing paper, thereby giving a right replacement of wood based paper, while conserving precious resources & protecting the environment.

The mill was established in 1979-80, in an economically backward village - Saila Khurd, in District Hoshiarpur, in the state of Punjab, India, with an aim to utilize wild Agro vegetations like Sarkanda Grass and Kahi Grass, and Agro-residues such as Wheat straw and Bagasse, to make a writing and printing paper. These Agro vegetations were at the time being burnt in the fields, leading to environmental pollution. Thus, by creating an application for their use, we helped reduce environmental degradation substantially. The company which initally started 30 TPD paper production, has now reached a level of 350 TPD in paper production. The company employs 1500 people, and the annual sales turnover touches 7000 million INR.

POST NAME - General Manager Finance & Accounts 

QUALIFICATION - CA\CMA

EXPERIENCE - 15 Years

CTC - 25 To 30 LPA

LOCATION - Hoshiarpur

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

This person will be responsible for Accounting, Cost and Budgetary Control, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Capital expenditure monitoring and OPEX – Monitoring.

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare detailed Cost reports to support the plant team in decision making
• Support month-end and year-end close process in SAP
• Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate with Internal and Statutory auditors for timely closure of audits and reporting
• Ensure the preparation of regulatory reporting and compliances including but not limited to direct and indirect taxation
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
