Central Silk Board (CSB), a Statutory body established in 1948 by an Act of Parliament, is working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It is engaged in undertaking, assisting and encouraging scientific, technological and economic research to improve levels of income in sericulture through spread of scientific sericulture practices to see India emerge as the leader in the world market for silk and advise the Central Government on development of silk industry.

SELECTION PROCESS :-
The selection of Young Professional shall be done as per existing guidelines of Central Silk Board by the Screening Committee and the Selection of Committee Members to be constituted with the approval of Competent Authority. The Selection Committee will empanel waiting list of the candidates, which will be valid for one year, apart from the finally selected candidates.
