Founded in 2016 by Durlabh Rawat, Barosi is an authentic Indian D2C food brand dedicated to bridging the gap between 'Bharat' and 'India'. Inspired by traditional rural wisdom, the brand delivers pure, local, and wholesome farm-to-doorstep products like farm-fresh A2 milk, traditional bilona ghee, honey, and cold-pressed oils. By sourcing directly from an empowered network of local farmers, Barosi ensures absolute ingredient transparency and product purity while fostering sustainable livelihoods and celebrating India's rich culinary heritage.

EXPERIENCE - 3 To 6 Years

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

The Finance Leader will be responsible for leading the company's finance function, driving financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and business performance. The role focuses on strengthening financial controls, optimizing profitability, providing strategic insights, and enabling sustainable growth through data-driven decision-making.

• Lead the overall finance function, including financial planning, accounting, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections while monitoring business performance against plans.
• Build financial models to support business decisions, pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and profitability analysis.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, policies, and governance across the organization.
• Ensure timely closure of books and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables, and inventory from a financial perspective.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining financial discipline across functions.
• Partner with business teams to evaluate margins, channel profitability, and operational performance.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
• Implement and improve finance systems, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for real-time decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
