JOB DESCRIPTION :-
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical CMA professional with experience in the steel industry to manage cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance and cost optimization initiatives to support business growth and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Costing & Cost Control: Prepare, analyze and control product cost, process cost, conversion cost, and overheads in line with steel industry operations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and periodic re-forecasts; monitor variances and report to management.
MIS & Reporting: Generate MIS reports on cost, production, inventory, sales, and profitability for senior management.
Cost Optimization: Identify cost saving opportunities and implement measures to improve efficiency and profitability.
Inventory Valuation & Control: Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation as per cost accounting standards.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance, KPIs and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, Companies Act, Income Tax and other applicable laws.
Audits & Liaison: Coordinate with internal, statutory and cost auditors and support in audit closures.
