JOB DESCRIPTION :-
Siemens Energy is seeking a factory controlling professional to be an integral member of this highly visible, dynamic and hard-working team. You will coordinate local factory finance activities to ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting for the Naroda Compression Manufacturing. Other activities include balance sheet review, monthly closing and reporting, forecast development, budgeting, month end closing while supporting line management in analysis, KPI / P&L monitoring, both ad hoc and routine.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage projects across their lifecycle to ensure forecast accuracy, cost control, margin optimization, and proactive risk & opportunity management for auxiliary, FRG etc. business
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results for the manufacturing facility, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, along with actuals reporting.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Support budget (annual) and forecasting (monthly) preparation and analysis and reporting in EPM, integrating insights from operational and financial performance.
- Controlling of purchasing activities by closely aligning with the Procurement
- Support in driving monthly forecast call and Submission of global templates
- Drive CAPEX monitoring & Fixed asset controlling, ensuring alignment with management priorities
- Oversee accounts payable and account receivable, supporting strong cash flow discipline and cash flow planning.
- Perform P&L and balance sheet reviews, ensuring timely clearing of risk prone GL line items
- Ensure statutory compliances (eg. Factory compliances, FEMA, Statistical department etc.)
- Actively support statutory, cost, and internal audits
- Drive reorganization activities, including creation of cost centers, profit hierarchies, and group mapping
- Deploy and strengthen risk management and internal control frameworks
- Support digitalization initiatives to enhance process efficiency and data reliability
