- Monitor overall factory costs against budget, standards, and previous periods.
- Analyze material, packaging, labor, utility, maintenance, and factory overhead costs.
- Monitor production yield, wastage, rework, rejection, and consumption variances.
- Prepare and review product-wise and batch-wise manufacturing costs.
- Monitor standard vs. actual cost and identify major cost variances.
- Control and analyze inventory, stock variances, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
- Prepare monthly factory cost reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Stores, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to identify and reduce costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Ensure proper cost allocation, accounting, documentation, and internal controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, audits, and management decision-making.
