COST ACCOUNTING TRAINEE VACANCY FOR FRESHER CMA AT PARADEEP PHOSPHATES LIMITED

Paradeep Phosphates Ltd (PPL) is a leading company in India’s phosphatic fertilizer industry, with a total production capacity of 3.9 million metric tonnes (MT) – 3.2 million MT of phosphates and 0.8 million MT of urea. Its four manufacturing units in Paradeep, Odisha (1.8 million MT), Zuarinagar, Goa (1.2 million MT) and the recently acquired unit at Mangalore, Karnataka (0.7 million MT) and SSP plant at Mahad, Maharashtra (0.2 million MT) produce a wide range of NPK fertilizers. The company also imports of MOP, TSP and DAP to serve its customer base of over 12 million farmers. PPL also supplies industrial products such as gypsum, HFSA, sulphuric acid, and ammonia.

VACANCY DETAILS :-

POST NAME - Cost & Management Accounting Trainee

QUALIFICATION - CMA

EXPERIENCE - Nil

LOCATION - Goa

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

1. BOM (Bill of Materials) Maintenance: Maintain and update standard Cost Centres and Bills of Material for various fertilizer grades (Urea, DAP, NPK, SSP)
2. Material Ledger Closing: Execute monthly inventory costing runs and material ledger closings in the ERP system to calculate actual cost of production
3. By-Product Accounting: Establish exact cost-allocation methodologies for joint products and industrial by-products
4. Material Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly material yield analysis to flag deviations between standard chemical inputs (Natural Gas, Rock Phosphate, Sulphur) and actual output.
5. Statutory Cost Audits: Maintain statutory cost accounting records in compliance with Section 148 of the Companies Act (or relevant local corporate laws)
6. Cost Audit Coordination: Lead the preparation for annual statutory Cost Audits and resolve queries raised by external Cost Auditors
