Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
- Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process payment vouchers, receipts, invoices, and journal entries.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before processing payments.
Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and updated accounting records.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
- Organize and maintain financial files and documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Taxation & Compliance
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Support the preparation and filing of tax returns and regulatory reports.
- Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
Audit Support
- Assist during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Prepare required documentation and schedules for auditors.
- Ensure proper maintenance of audit-related records.
ERP & Data Management
- Enter and update accounting data in Tally ERP/ERP software.
- Generate reports as required by management.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate with vendors, banks, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Assist in payroll processing and reimbursement activities.
- Perform any other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, preparing financial reports, overseeing audits, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure.
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor vendor payments and customer receivables.
- Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts regularly.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Payroll & Budgeting
- Support payroll processing and salary reconciliations.
- Assist in annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Team Management
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
- Train team members on accounting procedures and compliance requirements.
