National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML), is a 100% owned Company of NHAI, formed under the
guidance of the MoRT&H for the implementation of Multi-modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs), Port Connectivity Roads, Inter Modal Station, Ropeways, Wayside Amenities, OFC Laying and other associated projects on Pan India basis. NHLML is committed to facilitate efficient and sustainable logistics in India by leading identification, planning, financing,
development and management of allied highway infrastructure projects while ensuring environment and ecological
balance, thereby contributing to national prosperity. NHLML is now looking for talented professionals for its various Port
Connectivity SPVs and MMLP SPVs having PAN India presence. The Port connectivity SPVs serve as country’s logistics backbone by the development and management of critical Port Connectivity infrastructure. These projects are aimed at improving last-mile connectivity to major ports, decongesting logistics corridors, and facilitating seamless freight
movement. Further, NHLML is also leading the implementation of Multi-modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs) across India.
These MMLPs are designed as integrated hubs for freight handling, warehousing, intermodal transfer, and value-added
services, significantly reducing logistics costs and improving supply chain efficiency. As a part of fulfilling its mandate, NHLML will be required to formulate and adopt an appropriate contracting and implementing strategy, in coordination with multiple stakeholders including State Governments, Ministry of Railways, Port Trusts, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION :-
• Tax Compliance: Deliver the full spectrum of direct and indirect tax services in compliance with applicable laws and within prescribed timelines, including GST return filings, GST audits, Labour cess etc and related documentation.
• Payroll taxation and Statutory Compliance: Oversee payroll taxation and ensure compliance with statutory
requirements such as PF, Gratuity, and Professional Tax.
• Corporate Tax Filling & Compliance: Manage corporate income tax filings and ensure adherence to all associated
compliance obligations.
• Tax Planning and Forecasting: Support financial forecasting and controllership to optimize tax positions for both NHLML and its SPVs.
• Tax Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate tax-related risks, ensuring robust internal controls.
• Tax Strategy and Return Preparation Management: Develop and implement innovative tax planning strategies; manage the preparation of income tax returns.
• Process Improvement and Automation: Lead process improvement initiatives by introducing industry best practices and automation wherever feasible.
• Audit Coordination and Management: Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, tax, and CAG audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
• Tax Accounting and Ledger Management: Maintain accurate tax balances in the general ledger and manage all tax-related accounting matters.
• Regulatory Documentation and Reporting: Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax-related documentation and responses to regulatory data requests.
• Any other work as and when assigned by the Company.
