JOB DESCRIPTION :-
This role focuses heavily on detailed analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support key business decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Actively assist in the annual budgeting process and lead the preparation of quarterly/monthly financial forecasts. This involves working closely with business units to gather inputs and challenge assumptions.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis, comparing actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods. Identify key drivers for variances in revenue, costs, and profitability, and present actionable insights.
- Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and refine complex financial models (e.g., 3-statement models, DCF analysis, scenario analysis) to project future financial performance and evaluate strategic initiatives or investment opportunities.
Reporting & Performance Measurement
- Management Reporting: Prepare and distribute comprehensive monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages for senior management and stakeholders. Translate complex financial data into clear, concise presentations.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitor, track, and report on key financial and operational metrics (KPIs), highlighting trends and potential risks or opportunities.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Lead ad-hoc financial analyses for critical business questions (e.g., product profitability, return on investment (ROI) for projects, cost-saving initiatives).
Business Partnership & Support
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with non-finance departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing) to understand business drivers, collect data, and provide financial guidance on their spending and performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes, reporting, and modeling to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across various reporting and ERP systems.
