JOB DESCRIPTION :-
The Accounts Manager will oversee and manage all accounting functions within the company. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of financial operations across our nine stores. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
2. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Prepare and submit tax returns, and manage audits and financial reviews.
Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
3. Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor accounting staff across all store locations.
Coordinate with store managers to ensure accurate and consistent financial practices.
Conduct regular training sessions for accounting personnel.
4. Operational Efficiency:
Implement and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
Handle discrepancies and resolve any financial issues that arise.
5. Collaboration:
Work closely with the senior management team to align financial strategies with business goals.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as required.
