JOB DESCRIPTION :-
  • A reliable Management Accountant (Specialist, Finance processes & Control) to assist senior management in making critical business decisions by analyzing and presenting key financial data. Analyze accounting data, and prepare forecasts, budgets and risk analysis

  • An excellent management accountant with exceptional mathematical mind combined with a strong business orientation. Must be able to assume responsibility of cost accounting tasks.

  • Play a role of both a strategist and a decision maker with an ultimate goal of contribution to decision-making process of management that will ensure business growth and long-term success, for commercial and manufacturing business matters.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis –

  • Support Operations team on monthly manufacturing review meeting

  • Evaluate the site’s performance using key data Provide relevant analysis and commentary on key variances and trends of costs & expenses vs. prior year and forecast Prepare monthly manufacturing sites pack and provide monthly financial KPIs for Production dashboard.

  • Provide insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.

  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting process as per our Company’s forecasting calendar. Work closely with Regional Team and Site Team for ensuring all Budget / Forecast deliverables are met as per timelines.

  • Help identifying manufacturing efficiencies and optimize the efficiencies.

  • Review Capital spend by project and provide analysis between actual data and budget.

  • Gather and analyze financial information for internal use. Support any adhoc local / regional requirement for analysis.

Product costing –

  • Define and review standard cost in relation with Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain

  • Prepare hourly rate for budget and standard costing processes and provide relevant analysis on variances.

  • Responsible for setting up annual Transfer Prices with various countries - in co-ordination with Transfer Pricing Team – according to internal guidelines and in alignment to local profitability guidelines.

  • Assist with product costings, to drive new business opportunities, as well as forecasting and variance analysis.

  • Periodical review of Bill of Materials (BOM) changes impact on standard costing

  • Provide relevant information to Global Finance for Site products in scope of CCPs, Margin Evaluations

  • Support our Manufacturing Division Site with business case evaluations of new projects / new product costing / site-transfer project evaluations.

Site Financial Controller Functions –

  • Prepare and analyze the monthly price and usage variance allocation, including Purchase Price Variances (PPV)

  • Responsible for evaluation of Fixed Assets Acquisitions - Business Case preparations, ensuring Approvals as per GOA, support accounting team with relevant information for creating Internal Orders, asset numbers and final capitalization process requirements.

  • Support periodical Fixed Asset counts conducted by Finance & Accounting Team - work with Site Operations Team for smooth conduct of count-check, Gap Analysis and ensuring the deviations are supported with requisite approvals for accounting.

  • IQV Analysis – Close co-ordination with Site Operations and Procurement for assessing health of Site Inventory – Analyze impact of high inventories on P&L through obsolescence risks, play role in monthly S&OP Meetings to assess inventory risks. Finalize monthly provisions in accordance with Site Management discussions, review and approvals in HARP for monthly close operations.

  • Organize periodical inventory counts, work with Finance & Accounting Team and Site Operations Team for smooth conduct of Stock-take, Gap Analysis, Gap Approvals and ensuring the variances are accounted correctly.

  • Support on any audit queries on Financial Budgets / Inventory Valuation area / Standard Cost exercise.

  • Support internal teams for preparing periodical MIS.

  • Providing data to support management’s decision-making function
