Fund Accounting
- Good Knowledge of Fund Accounting Process in Geneva Application
- Fundamentals of Security Set-up
- Trade Booking & Trade flow
- Reconciliations of Position, Cash & Profit & Loss
- MTM & Valuation of Securities
- NAV packs (GAV, NAV)
- Processing knowledge of Capital bookings and Capital Balances of Fund
- Accounting of Accruals of a Fund
- Corporate Actions and impact of Funds
- Familiarity of Hedge Fund & PE Fund Characteristics are desirable
- Knowledge of Specialized Processing items especially associated with Hedge Fund Trades and Securities
- Formulation of Trial Balance of Fund
Financial Securities Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income Securities
- Good Knowledge on Derivative Securities - Exchange Traded and OTC
- Possessing knowledge on Security booking characteristics & Reset of Swaps securities
- Clear Idea about Cash Flows associated with Security Bookings
- Knowledge on Settlement process of Security Trades
- Knowledge on Bank Loan Security in relation to Fund Accounting
Conversion
- Exposure of Conversion process from one accounting system to another
- Ability to Reconcile Figures of one system to another
- Knowledge relating to reconciliation of Holdings/Tax lots/Accruals/Cash/Dividends // Fx Forwards/PNL/TB
- Ability to Investigate, Trouble-shoot and clear difference/breaks in balances
- Adaptive to Changes in System and work under changing eco-system
System
- Geneva Knowledge preferable
- Good Proficiency on Excel Functions
- Familiarity of PPT

- Good verbal & written communication skills
