Assistant Manager – Procurement Finance/ Assistant Manager - Materials Cost Forecasting is responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the procurement finance MIC forecasting processes and use of systems &tools, OneStream & S4/HANA. The role is supporting the global procurement finance team, in finance business partnering the global procurement team. He/She will already be working with the project team during the set-up phase of the Procurement Finance Forecasting tools and processes. On an ongoing basis the role will work on procurement performance management, supporting to deliver savings initiatives with net material impact on ekaterra’s bottom-line results and identifying improvement opportunities globally for the end to end Procurement Finance processes and capability building. The individual will need to have strong communication and analytical skills and a thrive for accuracy and continuous improvements. Besides, the job-holder needs to be results-orientated with an eye for details
Your Key Responsibilities
Perform effective and efficient analysis and validation of reported MIC FC data (actual, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and other reported data) to support improvements in quality, process and data analysis reported from OneStream.
Coordinate activities to enable Materials Incurred Cost Forecasting cycle in close collaboration with OneStream Tool administrator & Procurement Finance team.
Ensure Q&A Procurement team in case of any issues with tools/data inputs
Communicate any mismatches between original MRP volumes and the Onestream Purchasing volumes in case of errors (excluding strategic buying) with Demand/Production Planner.
Check S4 FX currency rate Forecast tables for completeness of FC cycle horizon - Connect with Treasury for inclusion of missing daily/monthly fx rates before loading into MIC FC tool
Ensure completed MIC FC & Variance analysis (NMCI, Fx. Act vs Fc, YoY, CoTP, CoC impact), communicate output to Procurement Finance to prepare for PLT Sign-off.
Monthly performance management. Analysis and deep dives where needed, including procurement commentaries collection and impacts explanation.
Prepare monthly communication.
Support the development of new capabilities and analytics, in order to give the team the tools to operate with a higher level of effectiveness and steer the resources behind key value-focused capabilities.
Understand key material cost drivers that feed into local/regional actual P&L and forecast.
Connect with the global and regional FP&A team, to ensure that material drivers in forecasted cost variances are integrated in the regional planning processes including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and budgeting processes.
Streamline and ensure proficient inputs into Product Costing & Transfer Prices cycle for materials.
