JOB DESCRIPTION :-
This role is to support the smooth functioning of the Accounting and financial systems with adherence of internal controls procedures and statutory compliances, together with ensuring proper, full and daily back up of all financial data, while working closely with Global Treasury team and leading one direct report.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and handling all banking transactions including LT & ST Loans
- Interacting with bankers for day to day transactions/ issues/ rates reset/rollover
- Timely preparation and reconciliation of all bank accounts
- Review of Form 15CA and 15CB prepared by Treasury Asstt
- Preparation of import related payment documents and closure of IDPMS
- ECB Loans documentation preparation and filing
- Hedging transactions and related accounting around it
- Coordinating with the Group Treasury for spot FX transactions or for placing the hedges
- Petty cash accounting
- Cash & bank vouchers
- Ensuring that all the entries for the month are timely and properly fed into SAP
- Cash Flow Forecast rolling 3 months, every fortnight
- Ensure all FX risks are hedged/ mitigated and taking proactive action to prevent any open exposure and FX loss
- Ensure optimal currency wise cash balance and best usage of cash thru deposits /approved investments
- Ensuring all the files & data are properly and securely maintained
- Coordination with Insurance agency, Banks for day to day functioning
- Proactive monitoring of all overdue payments to vendors and timely clearance of all overdue payments
- Filing all returns in time ECB, FATCA, Merchant Trading (MT) and all other RBI related documentation
- Preparation of IGAAP related Accounting schedules
- Ensuring full and proper provision of various input and services bills and Reconciliation and proper address of disputes, if any
- Doing General ledger scrutiny and Rectification of entries. Ensure SOX and Account Reconciliation policy requirement of Ball in relation to treasury.
- Run mark-to-market valuation in Quantum at month end for all FX deals and accrual bookings for External/Internal loans
