CAT 2022 is a prerequisite for admission to various PostGraduate and Fellow/ Doctorate programmes of IIMs. CAT 2022 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIMmember institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IIMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.

EXAM NAME - Common Admission Test (CAT)
ELIGIBLE QUALIFICATION - CA/CMA/CS/Graduate
EXPERIENCE - Nil
LOCATION - All Over India
SELECTION PROCESS :-
Written test will be conducted and syllabus for the test is shown as follows :
The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. There will be three sessions:
o Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
o Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
o Section III: Quantitative Ability
Candidates will be allotted exactly 40 minutesfor answering questions in each section and they will not be allowed
to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.
TEST CENTRES
:-
CAT will be conducted in test centres spread across
around 150 test cities. Candidates will be given the option
to select any six test cities in order of their preference.
APPLICATION FEE - 2300/-
IMPORTANT DATES :-
1. Registration opens: August 03, 2022 (10:00 am)
2. Registration closes: September 14, 2022 (5:00 pm)
3. Admit card download: October 27 – November 27, 2022
4. Test date: November 27, 2022
Result declaration: Second week of January, 2023 (Tentative)
