1. POST NAME - Cost Accountant

QUALIFICATION - B.Com

EXPERIENCE - Nil

LOCATION - New York

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

The position is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper valuation of inventory, blocked invoice review, purchase order maintenance, vendor pricing maintenance and audit support.  In addition, the cost accountant is responsible for both balance sheet and P&L account analysis for selected inventory accounts.

What you'll do:

• Ensure correct inventory valuation
• Perform activities related to month and year-end closings
• Address purchase order and invoice issues
• Develop and prepare schedules for audits
• Maintain vendor pricing matrices
• Monitor integrity of sub-ledger data and connection to the general ledger
• Participate in projects and perform ad hoc analyses as assigned.

2. POST NAME - Manager Accounts Receivable

QUALIFICATION - CA/CMA

EXPERIENCE - 3 To 5 Years

LOCATION - Mumbai

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

In this role you will be responsible for the Accounting and Management of Revenue and Receivable function for Sony Music Entertainment India Pvt Ltd and Sony Music Publishing India Pvt Ltd.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for Revenue accounting & monthly revenue closure as per USGAAP
• Responsible for Monthly Revenue schedules
• Centrally control AR function for Mumbai / Chennai region
• Evaluate legal customer contracts to ensure compliance with invoicing, collection and related clauses
• Monthly preparation of management report for Receivable ageing along, with regular interactions with Revenue heads to ensure collection timelines are met in line with the agreed contractual terms
• Monitoring the maintenance of customer master, credit limits, tax masters
• Ensure timely upload of Revenue deal Sales log reports in the Global system as per Global standards
• Statutory compliances – Monthly GST submission, Annual Statutory audit (Ind AS) , Internal audit (as applicable), SOX compliance, Transfer Pricing and Tax submission related to Revenue/ Receivable function.
