VACANCY DETAILS :-

POST NAME - Financial Analyst
QUALIFICATION - CA/CMA/MBA/MCOM
EXPERIENCE - 5 Years
LOCATION - Gurgaon

JOB DESCRIPTION :-

The primary purpose of this role requires management of financial accounting process for M&P team and related activities like budget management, reconciliation and reporting of financials.This is a people leadership role and the incumbent will be required to closely work with various stakeholders across Business LFOs/IOs, Marketing and GSM teams. The role will require strong focus on generating efficiencies, accelerating accounting processes and ensuring overall governance.

Functional:

  • People leadership role with direct supervision of 3-5 colleagues.
  • Accounting and Reporting for M&P expense and budget management along with year-end support to various marketing teams. Total AXP M&P budget of $4.5Bn.
  • Responsible for owning & maintaining financial/data integrity, compliance with internal service level agreements (SLA), guidelines, accounting policies and regulatory requirements as applicable.
  • The incumbent will be required to have strong accounting & reconciliation knowledge, policy awareness & control mindset.
  • Strong communication, relationship management & collaboration skills while closely working with various stakeholders across Controllership, Business Finance, Audit and Control groups, etc.
  • High proficiency in MS-Office applications, Oracle Applications, Essbase/TM1, etc. 

Additional:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve queries with the ability to deal with large set of data, perform trend & variance analysis and creating meaningful insights.
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvements.
  • Quick learner, an eye for detail and ability to work during ambiguity. 

Technical:

  • Good understanding of US GAAP (Revenue Recognition/M&BD) and basic techno finance/automation skill/ know how will be an added advantage.
