- Developing cost standards for material, labour and overheads
- Analyzing production costs and recommending changes
- Training and supervising cost and inventory accounting staff
- Conduct inventory reserve analysis and generate reports periodically for submitting to senior management.
- Designing and implementing cost accounting systems and overseeing physical inventory
Budgeting
- Reviews the actual income and expenditure for the business of Tourism, Merchandising, Events and other Services departments of previous years.
- Prepare budgeted Income and Expenditure with the team support on the business of Tourism, Merchandising, Events and other Services department considering the Business Plan approved by Management.
- Supports in analysis of Budget vs Actual variances on monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis and reporting management.
Financial Reporting
- Verifies the monthly income and expenditure posting status for the business of Tourism, Merchandising and Events.
- Ensures the accurate recording of expenditure in the appropriate journals and ledgers.
- Ensures the timely completion of monthly ledger postings in appropriate head of account.
- Extracts income and expenditure for the business of Tourism, Merchandising and Events for the month and up to the Financial Year of current and previous years.
- Supports analysis of monthly financial reports for the business of Tourism, Merchandising and Events and compares with the budget and previous year results for the month and up to the financial year.
- Prepares report on effective utilization of funds and the volume of idle funds if any.
- Prepares management need based MIS and operational reports
Theme Park Analysis
- Review of operating activities of various themes parks in India and abroad.
- Review of pricing structures of theme parks and various schemes operated by them from time to time.
- Prepare comparative analysis.
Monitoring
- Monitors the analysis of the financial aspects of different contracts for continuing and future projects of tourism, events, and films.
- Supports the continuous monitoring of expenditure incurred for the Business of Tourism, Merchandising, Events and Other Supporting Departments.
