Financial Analysts ensure that Alstom makes sound financial decisions. Our team of Financial Analysts foster the financial health of our organization by partnering closely with our various functions, tracking performance metrics and creating financial models. A master juggler working on multiple projects at a time, you maintain a consistently high level of attention to detail while finding creative ways to tackle financial challenges. As part of the Europe Finance team you will use data to provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support. Using your technical skills, business acumen and creativity, you will develop analysis and insights to help business partners understand project and site performance and the effectiveness of associated campaigns, while also providing recommendations to shape their business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Provide analysis files to HQ local finance teams for the financial monthly metrics
- Manage all payroll relevant cost accruals, i.e holidays provision, reclassification between cost centers
- Provide salary information upon request to REM, functions controllers
- Ensuring accruals for salary costs re-invoicing
- Manage reporting in reporting system as per deadline.
- Ensuring re-invoicing of FTE charges as per agreed terms. Providing detailed support for fees re-invoiced.
- Cost Centre follow-up.
- Provide analysis on under/ over absorption.
- Support data consolidation, analysis and budget preparation for HQ units.
- Actively prepare and contribute to the elaboration of the monthly Business reviews and to the budget reviews.
- Support units and internal customers by answering to their everyday questions
- Contribute to transversal initiatives such as tool development, trainings, best practices sharing.
- Perform the cost follow-up of the Europe Central Management Unit and the reporting for the monthly closing
