JOB DESCRIPTION :-
- The main success factors of this role include strong business acumen, strong grasp of project operations and their implications for financial performance, and strong technical and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate understanding of the business context to synthesize financial and operational data into meaningful business insights that highlight performance, at project level.
- Proactively working with the Business heads to deliver the planned business results for the year. Advise the business on various trends and actions to be taken based on the trends
- Understand the project economics and profitability drivers, translating them into operational actions, and proactively advising the PL on how to influence critical operational levers in order to positively impact project financials.
- Interacts directly with project leaders, helps set project strategy, supports project decision making, and guides future project decisions on the basis of their impact on project financial performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES :-
- Designing finance strategies and plans, based on complexities of the business vertical
- Based on sales forecasts, prepare the budgeted P&L, Cash Flows for the business.
- Recognize profitability and revenue potential in opportunities.
- Interpret financial statements to identify trends, problems and opportunities.
- Regular review meetings with the respective verticals on the financials and actions to be taken
- Lead planning and reporting process for short term and long term of strategic plan, annual financial review of strategic plan, monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Develop performance indicators for Value Drivers Key Success Factors and set up systems and procedures to improve business monitoring
- Participate in strategic projects from a finance & control point of view
- Assist business unit in executing investment calculations and executing financial performance analysis
- Prepare financial analysis for various “what if” scenarios and sensitivity analysis in analysing the business impact.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical skills; demonstrated leadership abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities of the leadership in a highly dynamic & fast paced environment
