JOB DESCRIPTION :-
Responsible to support and facilitate the VLS Internal controls and other related initiatives from VLS, including:
- Support efforts and help implement for Best in Class Internal Controls within VLS i.e., suggest improvements, identify opportunities for control automation, others
- Coordinate with Corporate/Regional Controllers, Functional leadership to help improve the maturity of the control environment, improve processes
- Support and coordinate with Internal audit service provider(s) w.r.t planning, overseeing execution, support timely report closure, support administrative arrangement viz. start and conclusion of audits, update management on the internal controls' status on a periodic basis
- Coordinate implementation of internal audit recommendations with process owners across VLS entities
- Work on other initiatives like supporting the timely update of policies, process/ controls, and governance framework.
- Implement efficiency initiatives to develop the internal controls processes at Varroc Lighting Systems
- Support internal and external groups (VLS Global/Regional teams, process/control owners and external auditors/advisors) on matters related to internal controls, under the direction of the VLS leadership team.
- Work independently as needed, leading initiation, execution and completion to finalization and reporting for projects, operational or other special projects defined
- Flexible to work across global time zones and travel (domestically and internationally).
