JOB DESCRIPTION :-
The Finance Associate will be a member of the Functional Finance Team, an integral part of BCG’s internal Worldwide Finance organization, providing meaningful, insightful, and accurate financial support to help guide and influence the decision-making process. The team partners with the leadership of our Global Functions, senior finance management and local, regional and global finance colleagues across the organization.
In this role, the Finance Associate will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations, analysis, reporting, and planning support to Global Services (GS) and Worldwide Initiatives (WWI) offices.

In this role, the Finance Associate will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations, analysis, reporting, and planning support to Global Services (GS) and Worldwide Initiatives (WWI) offices.
The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, support in the following key areas:
- Provide analytical support across a wide range of areas including planning, reporting and financial operations for GS & WWI
- Prepare, consolidate, and maintain the budget templates, plan load (including reconciling to source documents) and owning the source data set for preparation of key materials presented to senior management and other key stakeholders as part of the quarterly plan cycles
- Support the Lead Analysts with preparation of the month end reports, first line variance analysis and other ad-hoc reporting in support of senior management decision making
- Develop and maintain data visualizations to supplement current reporting and to digitize several monthly reports into dashboards to support senior leadership decision making
- Gain a detailed understanding of BCG’s finance systems (Oracle GL, SAP Business Objects, HFM, AP), key metrics and parameters impacting the firmwide reporting. Leverage technical and functional expertise to support data requests, analysis and maintenance for models and systems used in support of GS & WWI areas
- Share best practices within the team and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
- Use fresh perspective to develop new and/or streamline processes
