JOB DESCRIPTION :- 

FSO Saracen undertakes FSO offerings to provide 24/7 Saracen application support used by all the respective sites / regions (c.2500 users) to promote their numbers (Balance sheet and P&L) into the different set of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial and regulatory reports.

FSO service offerings for (1) System Incident Management, (2) User Training and Education, (3) Query Management, (4) Reference Data Management, (5) System Monitoring, (6) Data Integrity / Assurance, (7) System Security & Controls, (8) Change liaison activities.

The Opportunity :
  • Hyperion Financial Management (Saracen, COBRA, Web Analysis for dashboards and future project deliveries)
  • Cognos ePlanning (principally Contributor) and TM1
  • The extended functionality provided by the Query Management tool
  • For the Finance Systems Performance dashboard, run daily tests and update the dashboard with availability status, documenting and escalating any live issues to Application SME’s and UK Application Maintenance management
  • Professionally handle queries and issues from global users, understand and interpret information and route issues to relevant colleagues
  • Proactively identify issues and escalate with relevant teams (Business, IT etc)
  • Build strong effective relationships with colleagues and other teams
  • Asst Manager will be overall responsible for executing all assigned activities (standard and non-standard) pertaining of Finance Systems Saracen Support.
Business / Function :

o Troubleshooting user issues, user guidance and knowledge sharing
o Perform monthly scheduled system admin tasks
o Review critical tasks
o Amend and create SOP’s as per the changes in the business function

Customers / Stakeholders :

o Ability to Interact and build rapport with customers
o Provide additional support on ad hoc activities (UAT)
o Identifying and implementing improvements in a continuous manner from a system & data standpoint.

Teamwork :

o Effective communication within the team and with cross functional teams/stakeholders
o Take accountability and ownership of the tasks and responsibility assigned

Operational Effectiveness & Control :

o Ensures adequate controls are in place, documented and evidenced by the team
o Communications are clear, documents are of a high quality
