JOB DESCRIPTION :-
- Standard cost release for newly created material (Finished Goods and Semi finished material)
- Revaluation/correction of existing material on case to case basis
- Annual revaluation of standard cost for existing costed material
- Margin and Profitability analysis
- Variance analysis ( Purchase Price and Manufacturing )
- Backlog margin analysis
2. Inventory
- Inventory Valuation and reconciliation
- OSMI and LCM inventory working and analysis including forecast
- Inventory on backlog on hold working and analysis
- Inventory physical count support to operations.
- Inventory Ageing working and analysis
- Performing Inventory count reconciliation with books and post the differences if any
- Informing management on margin and inventory risk
- Internal Control procedure relating to Inventory controls
3. Month end/Quarter end
- Releasing costing period for standard cost purpose
- Performing task in SAP for period close and actual costing posting in the books
- Performing Balance sheet reconciliation for inventory accounts in Blackline
- Updation of monthly / Quarterly CAPMAN template
- Updation of monthly supplemental data
- Updation of Quarterly supplemental data
- Intercompany company inventory forecast
- Preparing Inventory listing (material line item wise) matching with GL and BPC every month
- Performing variance analysis of actual Vs forecast on inventory, COGS and Gross margin
4. Audit support
- Performing Inventory valuation and OSMI working during audit as per IND AS
- Quantitative details for supporting COS and Margin
- Providing audit support like reconciliation, workings, query during statutory audit
- Preparing cost audit schedules, workings and update the data in XML file along with financial profit Vs costing profit reconciliation
- Any other analysis as required during course of Audit
- Circulating pulse report / Daily report containing key information on daily basis
- Taking care of SOX compliance on internal control
- Other data request from internal and external customers on request/need basis
- Any other task as may be assigned by Management
