POST NAME - Junior Accountant
QUALIFICATION - CA Inter\CMA Inter
EXPERIENCE - 0 To 1 Year
SALARY - 20k To 25k P.M.
LOCATION - Kolkata
We are looking for a junior Accountant to assist in accurate and timely recording of accounting and inventory transactions and keeping full accountability and control over inventory movements. Your responsibilities will include preparing data for calculating tax payments and filing returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a familiarity with GST and TDS return filing. Ultimately, you will ensure that all SOPs in place for accounting and inventory management is being properly followed upon and immediate reporting of lapses if any. You should be good at handling multiple jobs at a single time, and be able to control all junior staffs so as to ensure they are following their job roles and responsibility and communicate with superior whenever their intervention is mandatory.
JOB DESCRIPTION :-
• Manage and control all accounting transactions and procedures
• Preparation of MIS as and when required by the management
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns [TDS, GST] (not mandatorily, but preferably)
• Provide timely inputs for preparation of balance sheets, profit/loss and cash flow statements
• Audit financial transactions and documents at frequent intervals
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups at regular intervals
• Effectively carry out all job roles handed over by seniors and top management in all day to day normal operations of the business in connection with the accounting & finance domain, without compromising with the job responsibility given to you.
To fulfil all of the above, you should be proficient with accounting software's, MS-Excel and having some experience in relation to filings.
