JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SENIOR FINANCE ANALYST :-
1. Support end-to-end efforts to design, document, and deploy industry-leading operational and management reports (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, KPI’s).
2. Capture reporting user stories from finance end users across the globe.
3. Design reporting wireframes and mock-ups.
4. Develop documentation of report functional specifications.
5. Prepare and deliver training content.
6. Partner with business stakeholders, data team and process team to design reports, data mart architecture and help shape user stories.
7. Establish relationships with business SME’s to gather reporting requirements and contribute to the future state report design.
8. Communicate requirements to technical build team and partner with them to prototype reports within reporting tool while working in an agile manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MANAGER - OPERATIONAL REPORT BUILD :-
1. The manager will continuously work towards delivering quality operational reporting solutions that influences stakeholders in global finance through "future looking" reporting & analytics using state of the art reporting tools vs the traditional "postmortem" analysis using Excel, by constructively challenging status quo and driving regional and global self-service reporting adoption.
2. Own end to end delivery of Operational reports as per end state architecture which will include managing: reports development, QA activities, on time reports deployment and ongoing operational support.
3. Build, and retain a delivery team with clear R&R and endorse a work environment that nurtures a culture of innovation to create value for J&J.
4. Develop scope and budget for all delivery project and continuously drive process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.
5. Design, build and deploy delivery strategy by setting clear processes on release strategy, change control framework, hyper care support and operational support model.
6. Day to Day project management of agile delivery and prioritize the work based on capacity & capability of the team, perform resource allocations and workload assignment and foster scrum planning for driving efficient delivery.
7. Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence, provide guidance to the team on stranded activities, ensure process adherence and evaluate the performance of team members.
8. Partner with Global Product Owners and JJT to enable a finance insight driven J&J enterprise - deploying standardized, automated, consistent and globally aligned operational reports, dashboards, key performance indicators and data for self-serve.
9.Partner with technology teams in J&J, provide clear reporting needs to help define end state capabilities for setting up the Digital Platform, Enterprise planning tool, Enterprise consolidation tool, semantic layers in Data warehouse, keeping in mind Human Centric Design objective.
10. Partner with external technology vendors to leverage best practices and out of the box ideas in continuously driving user experience by translating insights into innovative and viable solutions.
11. Report delivery status to reporting manager and develop required delivery documentations.
