JOB DESCRIPTION :-
- Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function
- Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from management of current rates to monthly close and analysis
- Support the Project Cost Team in the development of a standard costing system
- Manage the transition from the existing cost environment to a new standard cost system
- Identify, hire and develop in-plant cost accountants
- Development and maintenance of standard cost.
- Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis
- Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management
- Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers
- Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities
- Preparation of Budget for year for integrated captive power plant after analysis of Sales forecast & trends.
- Assisting in preparation of Cost Accounting records for Cost Audit
- Preparation of Financial plan (Fin plan) for Five Years
- Preparation of report on variance analysis on actual results Vs Budget. Analyzes reasons for deviations from budget.
- Preparation of monthly Actual Vs Budgeted Fixed Cost Analysis report for tracking Budget cost; center wise for cost control.
- Preparation of PPT presentation.
- Preparation of audit packs by giving reason for any deviation from previous period and resolving query of auditors.
